Calcined Anthracite Coal (CAC) Product Introduction
Calcined Anthracite Coal (CAC)is a premium carbon-based industrial material, professionally customized and widely supplied for global metallurgy, steel manufacturing and metal foundry sectors. Classified as gas-calcined anthracite, it is manufactured via standardized high-temperature calcination treatment: raw anthracite is thermally treated at a constant temperature ranging from 1200°C to 1400°C in an enclosed, temperature-controlled furnace environment.
The professional calcination procedure thoroughly eliminates internal moisture, harmful volatile matter, residual mineral impurities and organic constituents from raw anthracite. After high-temperature purification, finished CAC features upgraded fixed carbon rate, higher bulk density, optimized structural stability and moderate electrical conductivity, meeting universal industrial usage standards for carbon additive materials.

Production Process of Calcined Anthracite Coal (Gas Calcined CAC)
Our gas calcined anthracite coal (CAC) is produced under standardized, full-process quality-monitored procedures. Strict production flow guarantees stable chemical indexes, uniform particle structure and qualified finished quality, which fully meets global metallurgy, steelmaking and foundry industry procurement standards. The complete manufacturing process is shown as below:
1. Premium Raw Anthracite Selection
We adopt high-grade natural lump anthracite as raw material, featured with high fixed carbon, inherent low sulfur,
2. Constant-temperature Gas Calcination
Qualified raw anthracite is sent to professional gas-fired rotary kilns for calcination under controlled atmosphere. The whole heating temperature is stably controlled at 1200°C – 1400°C. This core high-temperature process completely removes internal free moisture, volatile components and organic impurities, forming compact carbon crystal structure, and improving carbon purity, bulk density and basic electrical conductivity of anthracite.
3. Gradient Cooling & Particle Screening
High-temperature calcined materials will be cooled slowly and evenly to protect internal structural stability, avoid cracking and performance attenuation. Afterwards, materials go through crushing, classifying and screening procedures. Multiple customized particle sizes are available to match different steelmaking, casting and carbon adding construction demands.
4. Full-item Quality Testing & Standard Packaging
Each batch of CAC will undergo laboratory detection on fixed carbon, sulfur, ash, moisture and resistivity indexes. Only products reaching export standards can be delivered. Finally, qualified goods are packed in ton bags or customized packages, supporting long-distance ocean transportation, safe storage and convenient unloading for overseas clients.
